24-year-old John Fee was transported to the hospital with injuries he sustained in the one-vehicle crash that occurred after he lost control of his 2011 Harley Davidson.
Fee told officers he was driving south on the Columbus Highway near Hood Road at about 4:45 p.m. Monday when the vehicle he was following suddenly slowed to turn, causing him to abruptly apply the brakes to his motorcycle to avoid rear-ending the vehicle.
Fee also was cited for not having a motorcycle endorsement on his driver’s license, no insurance and no registration.
