The woman, 39-year-old Manuela Molina, was arrested Friday for battery on school personnel. Her 14-year-old daughter also was detained for battery on school personnel.
And both mother and daughter have been flagged for possible deportation while officials determine their legal residency.
Undersheriff Arturo Baeza said it appeared that the daughter became frustrated over a non-working computer and slapped a male teacher.
When the mother was called to the school for a conference following the battery, she, too, slapped the same teacher.
