Deming Fire Captain Randy Blankenship said the mobile home at 200 Quail Run was fully engulfed in flames when they responded at about 6:30 a.m. Monday.
Blankenship said two adults who were home at the time were treated by emergency responders for smoke inhalation but were not transported to the hospital.
Officials believe the fire origin was electrical in nature, and was started by a heater in an add-on extension to the mobile home.
Blankenship said the Deming Fire Department responded with two engines and firefighters were at the scene for approximately three hours.
