Dolomite is a form of the mineral magnesium which has been identified as a critical mineral by the federal government.
The proposed action consists of improving an existing BLM road, constructing a new mine site access road, developing a construction laydown yard and temporary structures, resource verification drilling, and excavating and removing dolomite resources.
The public scoping meeting is set for Thursday, July 25th, from 6-8 p.m. at the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center, 2300 E. Pine St.
