The hotline, which is live each Thursday from 9-11 a.m., began again this week.
Anyone with gardening questions can call 546-8806 during Hotline operation hours and Master Gardener volunteers are on-hand to provide answers and tips.
Luna County Extension Agent Jack Blandford said he was pleased they were able to make this important resource available again to Luna County residents.
Blandford said many people think this is a difficult area to garden in, but, he said, you can grow almost anything here and you can garden year-round.
Blandford said the Master Gardener volunteers will recommend what to plant and when to plant it, and answer questions on garden pests.
He said they also can give information on pruning roses and how to plant trees that do well here.
Luna County residents should call 546-8806 or stop by the Extension office at 210-B Poplar between 9-11 a.m. Thursdays.
Calls made at other times will be returned as soon as possible.
