
A letter to Anderson congratulating her on her selection said there were several advisors nominated from the 14 states in Region 5, and she was chosen based on her dedication to the organization and her many accomplishments as a career and technical educator.
Anderson reportedly has worked for Deming schools for 42 years.
Anderson and the other regional finalists will be interviewed by a committee comprised of business and industry, state directors and members of the national board of directors during the national organization’s Leadership and Skills conference in Louisville, Kentucky, in June.
