The class is aimed at those considering adding solar panels to their home or business, and is designed to give participants
an understanding of the principles involved.
All available choices regarding home energy production and usage – both grid-tied and off-grid – are explained.
Past participants have reported cutting their home electricity bills in half simply through closer examination of their personal consumption, with no investment in solar panels.
The five-week class will meet on Thursdays from March 19th through April 16th, with a field trip on Saturday, April 18th.
The class fee is $50 which includes printed materials.
Call the Luna County Extension Office at 546-8806 to sign up for the class.
