Tyler Technologies Inc. announced Monday that the New Mexico Administrative Judiciary has successfully gone live with Tyler’s Modria ® online dispute resolution software.
The pilot includes the Second, Sixth and Ninth Judicial District Courts; five Magistrate Courts including Luna, Grant, Hidalgo, Roosevelt, and Curry counties, and Bernalillo County Metropolitan Court.
The courts will use Modria to help residents resolve simple debt and collection cases, to complex family and custody cases.
Administrative Office of the Courts Director Arthur Pepin said Modria is an easy-to-use tool that helps parties involved in a lawsuit reach a resolution without setting foot in a courtroom, adding that New Mexico residents want to have the option to take care of court business online – much the way they manage their other activities.
Company officials say Modria is an easier, faster, and less expensive way to solve minor disputes online and give citizens swift, affordable, and convenient access to justice.
