
The meeting will begin with a presentation by Kim Dominguez with the Southwest Regional Transit District.
Included on the agenda is a call for an ordinance adopting a local economic development plan to implement the authority provided by the New Mexico Local Economic Development Act, a call for an ordinance approving a project application from Preferred Produce for a local economic development project, and a vote on an amended personnel ordinance.
The commissioners also will reconsider a road application… consider a certification of Luna County financial hardship to request equipment from the New Mexico Department of Transportation Hardship Auction… and vote on an intergovernmental transfer of property from the county to Deming Public Schools at 1808 and 1810 South Lime to benefit the high school building trades class.
The regular meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m. Thursday in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse.
The meeting will be open to the public.
