
Beginning at 8 a.m. Friday there will be a work session open to the public at which commissioners and county staff will discuss regular meeting agenda items in an informal setting.
Then the Special meeting will follow at 9 a.m.
Included on the agenda is a call for ordinance to amend Luna County Ordinance number 54. This deals with the rights of employees and the employer in regards to the union representing Luna County Sheriff’s and Detention personnel, and collective bargaining.
The legal notice says the Commissioners will be canvassing the recent results of the primary election due to added dates. And the commission will discuss the Luna County policy that complies with the Office of Management and Budget’s Uniform Grant Guidance Policy.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. Friday June 17th, in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse.
The special meeting will be open to the public.
