
The meeting will begin with a public hearing on Ordinance 94 authorizing the issuance and sale of taxable industrial revenue bonds for the TPE Alta Luna, LLC project. The public hearing will be followed by a vote on the ordinance.
Other items on the agenda include numerous annual agreements awarding funding to local entities, a joint powers agreement with the village of Columbus for law enforcement services, a letter of protest of a water application, a community prosperity ethics pledge, and a discussion of county road assessments.
Also, a presentation will be made by the Luna County Shooting Range Exploratory Committee.
And a five-year service pin will be presented to Edith Vasquez with the DWI Program.
The meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m. Thursday in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse.
The meeting will be open to the public.
