
The meeting is a week later than the usual meeting day of the second Thursday of the month due to conflicts, and will follow the public hearing on the ICIP – or infrastructure capital improvement plan.
Included on the agenda is an update on the Census 2020 Complete Count effort, a request for an exemption from the special tax assessment for predator control, the appointment of two members to the Labor Management Relations Board, Opportunity Zones, consideration of a grant-writing and lobbying firm, and resolutions for the county’s ICIP, the disposition of personal property, an economic development advisory committee, and a policy addressing electronic eavesdropping and unlawful recording.
The meeting is set to being at 4 p.m. this Thursday, Sept. 19th, in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse, 700 S. Silver Ave.
The meeting will be open to the public.
An executive – or closed – session to discuss collective bargaining and compensation levels is included within the open meeting to allow the commissioners to return to their open session and vote on compensation levels.
