
According to the agenda, the purpose of the meeting is to appoint an independent member to the county’s Labor Management Relations Board, and to consider the collective bargaining agreements with the Luna County Detention Center and Luna County Sheriff’s Department, including compensation and holidays.
The meeting this Tuesday, Oct. 16th, will begin at 10 a.m. in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse, 700 S. Silver Ave.
The meeting will be open to the public.
An executive – or closed – session to discuss limited personnel matters pertaining to the county manager’s contract is included on the agenda following the three items of new business.
