
Included on the agenda is a public hearing and action item to consider repealing Ordinance Number 6 pertaining to salaries for county elected officials, the appointment of a Labor Management Relations Board member, participation in a class-action lawsuit attempting to recover sums under the Payment in Lieu of Taxes Act for fiscal years 2015, 2016 and 2017, and authorization to purchase the McGee property for an amount not to exceed the appraised value.
The monthly meeting is set to begin at 10 a.m., this Thursday, July 12th, in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse, 700 S. Silver Ave.
The meeting will be open to the public.
Following the regular monthly meeting, the commissioners will meet in executive – or closed – session to discuss the county manager’s evaluation and contract.
A work session to review regular meeting agenda items and hold a roundtable discussion with elected officials will precede Thursday’s open meeting at 9 a.m.
The work session is open to the public as well.
