Chris Brice, Luna County Detention Director DEMING – The Luna County commissioners will meet in special session Tuesday morning.
Included on the agenda is a canvas of the Nov. 5th Regular Local Election results, ratification of a Gross Receipts Tax contract, a Federal Emergency Management Agency relief opportunity, and an amended resolution pertaining to polling places.
The commissioners also will meet in executive – or closed – session to discuss the hiring of Luna County Detention Center Director Chris Brice to serve as Luna County manager.
A roll-call vote is scheduled in open session following the executive session.
The meeting is set to begin at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 12th, in the commission chambers, located on the third floor of the Luna County Courthouse, 700 S. Silver Ave.
Other than when the commissioners are meeting in executive session, the meeting will be open to the public.
