The workshops, sponsored by Luna County, New Mexico State University and the State Environment Department, are designed to help homeowners understand what the New Mexico septic regulations mean for them… how to maintain the value of their property by maintaining their system… how low-cost maintenance tips can extend the life of a septic system… and how they may qualify for a self-installer permit to fix their own system.
The workshops will be held Tuesday, March 17th, from 6-8 p.m., and Wednesday, March 18th, from noon-2 p.m. Both workshops will be held in the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center, 2300 East Pine.
Sodas and snacks will be provided.
