Local Pool to close August 9th

(Deming) – Time is running short for the public to take a last dip in the Sam Baca Aquatic swimming pool this season.

     City of Deming officials have traditionally kept the pool open only during the local school district’s summer vacation.

     With students preparing to go back to school August 18th, pool officials have set the last day of swimming for Saturday, August 9th.

     The aquatic center has been open since May 28th.
