(Deming) – A house fire was reported at just after 2 a.m. Friday near the intersection of New Frontier and Platino roads. The Sunshine and Cook’s Peak Volunteer Fire Departments responded along with the Deming Fire Department.
Here’s the area crime report: Fernando Sanchez, age 25, of Columbus, was arrested for DUI and on a failure-to-dim-lights traffic violation… a criminal complaint was filed on Ismael Espinoza, age 20, for battery on a household member… Jimmy Payne, age 27, was arrested for driving while license was suspended or revoked…
Fabian Ramirez-Navarrete, age 21, was arrested on a District Court warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation and was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia… Sandra Sifuentes, age 46, was arrested on a District Court warrant for a probation violation… Eudeley Salinas, age 25, was arrested on two Magistrate warrants for failure to appear and on a Grant County warrant for failure to appear… Ann Jaure, age 59, was cited for shoplifting at Dollar General… and a 14-year-old boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia at Red Mountain Middle School.
