(Deming) – Deming-Luna County Economic Development, Inc. will hold its third Annual Luncheon at noon on Wednesday and seating is limited to the first 150 attendees.
The guest speaker for the event will be Dr. Lowell Catlett, a renowned futurist and a dean and professor at New Mexico State University.
Catlett’s talk will be called “Imagining the World of 2020” – specifically addressing the state of the economy and what is in store for businesses down the road.
There also will be performances by Deming Public Schools’ Danzantes del Cielo Ballet Folklorico and soloist Astrid Sandoval.
The cost to attend the luncheon is $15, and seating is limited to 150 attendees.
Again, the third Annual Luncheon of the Deming-Luna County Economic Development organization will be Wednesday, September 25th at noon at the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center.
