(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Omar Avila, age 25, was arrested for DUI, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute, driving while license was suspended or revoked, resisting or evading officers, no insurance, expired registration and on a failure-to-stop driving violation… Michael Block, age 36, was arrested on a Dona Ana County warrant for failure to appear… and Brandy Hammonds, age 29, was cited for shoplifting at PicQuik.
Also… two counterfeit $100-bills were discovered in Columbus; the bills reportedly came from Mexico.
