DEMING – Here’s today’s local crime report:
Robert Ramirez, age 41, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant charged with aggravated fleeing from law enforcement officers, battery on a household member, criminal damage to property of a household member and driving with a suspended or revoked license… Raul Garcia, age 38, arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines and on a Deming Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… Carlos Vigil, age 39, arrested on a Deming Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… Jerry Castillo, age 45, arrested on a Magistrate warrant with local charges.
In other reports, an unknown vehicle struck a City of Deming dumpster by a business in the 200 block of East Maple. A spokesperson for the business said that the dumpster was hit and pushed 60 feet back and entered the business another 20 feet. A $500 window was broken in the process, and the Police Department took a report. A $120 air compressor was reported taken from a residence on South Zinc street.
