(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Ismael Chacon, age 22, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… Carlos Veleta, age 62, was arrested on a District Court arrest warrant… Craig Jackson, age 32, was arrested on two Magistrate warrants for failure to appear… and Luis Aguilar, age 19, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear.
Also… a semi-truck trailer was on fire about 10 miles west of Deming off Interstate-10 just after midnight Wednesday morning; the Cook’s Peak Volunteer Fire Department assisted in the incident… tools valued at over $600 were taken from a location off O’Kelly Road SE… two semi-truck wheels and tires with a combined value of $500 were taken from a location off E. Motel Drive… and a wooden table and water hose with a combined value of nearly $400 were taken from a residence off N. Diamond.
