(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Manuel Chavez, age 56, was arrested for kidnapping… Justin Reyes, age 19, was arrested for driving while license was suspended or revoked… Josue Pedregon, age 22, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant and on seven Municipal warrants – all for failure to appear… Sandra Gallegos, age 39, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear… and Craig Jackson, age 33, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear.
Also… over $45,000 worth of train parts were reported missing following a derailment near Peru Mill Road some time ago… and a 77-year-old Deming woman reported being defrauded after sending $1,700 to a telephone caller claiming to need the money in order to release $1 million dollars that the woman had won but never received.
