(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Bobby Marquez, age 34, of Bayard, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… and a 14-year-old girl was cited for battery.
Also… there was a non-injury accident involving a school bus Monday afternoon at the intersection of Florida and Hermanas Grade. Martin Altizer, age 60, was cited for failing to yield right-of-way after stopping.
And in other news… a 54-year-old Columbus man reported $800 in unauthorized withdrawals from his account to a cellular phone company with which he does not have phone service… $500 in criminal damage to tires were reported by a city resident… $100 in criminal damage to a chain link fence was reported at a business off East Pine Street… and a wire-fed welder valued at nearly $100 was taken from a location off Avonell Drive Southwest.
