(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Gabino Luna, age 47, was arrested on a District Court warrant for criminal sexual penetration of a minor, criminal sexual contact of a minor, forcing a minor to view pornography, intimidation of a witness and contributing to the delinquency of a minor… Jose Tarango, age 19, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for battery against a household member, interfering with communication and causing criminal damage to the property of a household member, and on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear… Luis Munoz, age 28, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for battery against a household member… and a 15-year-old girl was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
Also… a 76-year-old Deming man reported being the victim of fraud after sending $500 through a telephone solicitation to help someone who the caller reported was in need… a tow hitch, tools and other items with a combined value of $300 were taken from a storage facility off Franklin Road Southeast… a television, DVD player and numerous DVDs were taken from a residence off Honeysuckle… and a wallet, Border Patrol badge and other items were taken from the swimming pool.
