DEMING – Here’s the area crime report:
Luis Duran, age 31, was arrested for battery against a household member, and causing criminal damage to the property of a household member… Bennie Mercer, age 50, was arrested on four warrants – a Magistrate and two Municipal warrants for failure to appear, and a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… and Jessica Beam, age 50, of Colorado Springs, CO, was arrested on a Hidalgo County warrant for failure to appear.
Also, $500 worth of criminal damage occurred to a gate, and $200 worth of criminal damage occurred to a garage door, during a break-in at a residence off Copper St.
