
Larry Wolfgram, age 65, was arrested on 14 counts of Criminal Damage to Property – 4 of which are felony charges. According to Sheriff’s Detective Bobby Brookhouser residents of the Starlight Village on the Hatch Highway called officers at around 2am Wednesday morning to report several vehicles had their tires slashed.
Wolfgram was found by Sheriff’s officers extremely intoxicated, and in possession of 4 knives.
Further investigation by Sheriff’s Deputies Joseph Carlos and Paul Sanchez found a total of 47 tires slashed on 13 different vehicles. Wolfgram was arrested without incident.
Also, Wednesday night, the Sheriff’s department held a roadblock on US 180 at mile marker 155. Arrested from the roadblock was David Trujillo, age 30 of Arenas Valley… charged with a warrant from ElPaso, County TX Sheriff’s Department for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. And Maria Vasquez, age 37, of Las Cruces was arrested on an Otero County warrant for Failure to comply with conditions of probation.
Corina Maynes, age 27, was arrested on a 6th Judicial District Court warrant for probation violations… Veronica Cana, age 39 of Phoenix, AZ was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for Failure to Appear…Dana Hull, age 32, arrested on a Magistrate warrant for Failure to pay fines.
Casey Callaway, age 23, of Chaparral was arrested on 2 Magistrate warrants for Failure to appear…Laura Remondini, age 33, was arrested on a Silver City Municipal warrant for Contempt of Court… Bobby Summerfield, age 37, of Fresno, CA was arrested on a Mojave County Arizona warrant for leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries, and local charges of shoplifting at Walmart.
In juvenile arrests, a 15 year old girl was arrested at the Columbus Port of Entry on a Warrant for probation violation.
A fire was reported on Chartley Way and Pear Street. Deming Fire Department responded to the fire and found a PNM transformer had exploded and caught a pole and wood pile located close to the pole on fire. No damage amount was given in the report.
