(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Jasmin Johnson age 26, was arrested for military desertion… Emilio Jurado, age 42, was arrested on a Deming Municipal warrant and on three Grant County warrants – all for failure to pay fines… David Banke, age 45, was arrested on a Valencia County warrant for failure to appear… and Kimberly Porter, age 38, was cited for shoplifting at Walmart.
Also… an interstate wrong-way driver was stopped by local authorities before causing an accident… a vehicle caught fire on the interstate near the Hidalgo County line… four tires and rims valued at $600 were taken from a location off North Platinum… a saw and tow-bar with a combined value of over $300 were taken from a location off South Slate… and a window valued at $250 was broken on a car parked off East Cedar.
