(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Frank Beltran, age 41, was arrested for aggravated battery against a household member… Charles Underwood, age 34, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines and on a Lenawee County, Michigan, warrant for felony-level violation of child support payments… and Gabriel Marquez, age 18, was cited for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also, a controlled burn on property off Highway 377 near mile marker 4 escaped containment lines Wednesday between 2-3 p.m.; Cookes Peak and Sunshine volunteer fire departments assisted in putting out the fire.
And in other news, appliances and fixtures were reported missing from an unoccupied house off Highway 549… and $100 worth of jewelry wire was reported stolen from a location off Wagon Wheel Road.
