(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Robert Ochoa, age 69, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for two counts of criminal sexual penetration and one count of kidnapping… Michael Rodriguez, age 23, was arrested for child abuse, resisting, evading or obstructing an officer and possession of drug paraphernalia… Esteban Gonzalez, age 59, was arrested for improper handling of a fire… Gerald Hefley, age 20, was arrested for concealing identity…
Manuel Candelaria, age 41, was arrested on an Adult Probation and Parole Office warrant for a probation violation… Kimberly Chapman, age 26, was arrested on a District Court warrant for a probation violation… Rebekah Teague, age 32, was arrested on a District Court warrant for a probation violation…
Sergio Rodriguez, age 49, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear and was cited for unauthorized burning and having alcohol in a public place…
Desiree Salazar, age 27, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear and on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… and Alice Shannon, age 49, was arrested on two Municipal warrants for failure to pay fines.
Also… city officials responded to three brush fires Wednesday – one in the 100 block of East First, one in the 1300 block of West Spruce and one in the 1200 block of East Pine… a bicycle valued at $500 was reported stolen from the 400 block of South Platinum… $400 in criminal damage occurred to the door of a church off East Poplar… and a fence was cut near the intersection of Coyote and Franklin roads.
