Karisa Lawler, age 44, was arrested on two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia… Mauricio Alvarado, age 45, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Jason Houston, age 49, was arrested for possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia…
Sharity Acosta, age 35, was arrested for aggravated battery on a household member… Gustavo Tijerina, age 37, of Portales, was arrested for battery against a household member… Angelica Moralez, age 21, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and concealing identity… Erlinda Pastran, age 26, was arrested for violating a protection order… Emra Perry, age 26, was arrested for trespassing and shoplifting at Walmart, and on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear…

Birch… a student computer tablet valued at $500 was reported missing during an inventory at Deming High School… wireless headphones valued at over $100 were reported stolen from a local motel… and a tricycle valued at $100 was taken from a location off Calle Jaime.
