(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Anthony Rodriguez, age 25, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for battery against a household member, on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear and on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Fabian Sanchez, age 24, who is incarcerated in the Luna County Detention Center, was charged with battery… Gregory Granado, age 39, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia and interference with officers… Yvette Edwards, age 30, was arrested for prowling and interference with officers… a criminal summons was issued for Justin Casey, age 40, for petty larceny… a criminal summons was issued for Danial Lee, age 34, for possession of drug paraphernalia…
Fernando Hernandez, age 33, was arrested on a Dona Ana County warrant for failure to pay fines… Roberto Tejada, age 29, of El Paso, TX, was arrested on a Grant County warrant for failure to appear… Antoinette Reyes, age 29, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… Russell Smith, age 46, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear… and Trista Montano, age 33, was cited for shoplifting at Walmart.
In juvenile news, a 17-year-old boy was detained for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana… and two boys – a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old – were cited for public affray at Deming High School.
In other news, a motorcycle valued at $2,000 was stolen from a location off Laurel Rd… a chest freezer, sewing machine and other items, with a combined value of over $300, were taken from a location off S. Zinc… a rear windshield valued at $200 was broken on a vehicle parked off S. Country Club Rd… and a three-wheeled bicycle valued at $100 was stolen from a location off W. Clark.
