DEMING – Here’s the area crime report:
Francisco Lucero Jr., age 19, was arrested for aggravated DUI, having an open container, minor allowing self to be served alcohol, and speeding… Lorenzo Flores, age 23, of Albuquerque, was arrested on a U.S. Marshal’s no-bond warrant and on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear… Ricardo Gonzalez, age 29, of Columbus, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to comply with conditions of probation… and a criminal summons was issued to Jerry Encinias, age 48, for harassment.
Also, 11 people ranging in age from 17 to 19 – from Deming and Silver City – were cited for underage drinking after a party on Santa Monica was broken-up by police… a utility trailer valued at $750 was taken from a location off S. Silver… a glass sliding-door valued at $700 was broken on a residence off Emerson… a handheld radio valued at $200 was taken from a vehicle parked off Mesilla… a television and jewelry, with a combined value of $150, were taken from a residence off S. Iron… and damage to window frames, doors and railings was reported at a residence off Whisper Rd.
