(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Nancy Maldonado, age 60, of Arenas Valley, was arrested for aggravated DUI, no insurance, having an open container and on a failure-to-yield driving violation… Taylor Holmes, age 21, was arrested for DUI… David Medrano, age 24, was arrested for possession of marijuana, interference with officers and on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear… Cerbando Acosta-Carbajal, age 19, of Columbus, was arrested on a U.S. Marshall’s warrant for money laundering…
Gregory Granado, age 36, was arrested on a District Court warrant for a probation violation… Noah Jimenez, age 35, was arrested on a District Court arrest warrant… Casey Marquez, age 38, of Las Cruces, was arrested on a District Court arrest warrant… Gaudencio Sandoval, age 39, was arrested on a District Court warrant for a probation violation… Lino Solano, age 35, was arrested on a District Court arrest warrant… Manuel Hernandez, Jr., age 62, was cited for indecent exposure… and a 15-year-old boy from Columbus was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
Also… a car hit a cow on Pelayo Road in the county; the cow had to be put down… appliances and other items were taken from a location off Lime Street… a backpack containing a $650 computer tablet assigned from Deming High School was taken from near the school’s outdoor volleyball court… and miscellaneous items totaling nearly $100 were taken from outside a residence off Lime Street.
