DEMING – Here’s the area crime report:
Joseph Tingle, age 41, of El Paso, TX, was arrested for DUI and on an improper lane driving violation… Fernando Gutierrez, age 40, was arrested for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and on two District Court warrants for failure to appear… Jose Roman, age 21, was arrested for possession of marijuana, prohibited possession of a controlled substance, trespassing, and on two District Court warrants for failure to appear…
Darrel Williams, age 24, was arrested on a District Court warrant for failure to appear… Jessy Hawkins, age 19, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to pay fines… Alberto Sanchez, age 20, was arrested on a Sierra County warrant for failure to appear… and Alberto Silva, age 22, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines.
Also, $2,000 cash and a silver piece valued at $75 were taken from a residence off W. Florida… a speaker system valued at $800 was taken from a location off N. Lead… $100 worth of chain-link fence was taken from a location off Santa Barbara… a 28-year-old Deming woman reported identity theft after learning her driver’s license was suspended following two requests for replacement licenses she didn’t make… and a 42-year-old Deming woman reported identity theft after receiving a letter for unemployment compensation she didn’t request.
