Criminal damage to property reports were taken by police after windows were broken on two local businesses on East Pine Street. A glass window at Tractor Supply was broken valued at $200 and a glass window on Snappy on Pine was broken valued at $300. Police have surveillance video and are continuing the investigation… A 62-year-old Deming woman reported cases of fraud in the total amount of $2,500 after sending several MoneyGrams to a caller who advised her she had won a lottery in the nation of Colombia South America, and just needed to pay the taxes. $100 in jewelry was reported taken from a residence on Driver Street. A necklace and piggybank with a combined value of $210 was taken from a residence on West Maple Street. A tire was slashed on a vehicle on South Whittier valued at $100. A 9mm handgun valued at $550 was reported stolen from a residence on South Platinum Street.
