(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Christine Asay, age 44, was arrested for three counts of forgery, three counts of fraud, three counts of identity theft and issuing worthless checks… Crystal Mendoza, age 28, was arrested for battery against a household member… and Corina Maynes, age 25, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for failure to appear and on a District Court warrant for a probation violation. Richard Flores, age 55, was arrested for battery… Rodrigo Jimenez, age unavailable, was cited for allowing dangerous dogs to run at large… and a 15-year-old boy was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia. Also… a 50-year-old Deming man reported being the victim of fraud after learning his credit cards were used for $5,000 dollars’ worth of unauthorized purchases in Deming and Las Cruces. Criminal damage estimated at $700 dollars occurred to a vehicle parked off West Hickory after its window was broken with a rock… and a computer valued at $500. dollars and numerous bottles of wine were taken from a residence off South 13th Street.
