(Deming) -- Here’s the area crime report:
Sergio Betancourt, age 57, of Mexico, was arrested on a Dallas County, Texas, warrant for aggravated sexual assault… Alexandria Castro, age 18, was arrested on a Grant County warrant for failure to appear… Cesar Maese, age 19, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines… and a 17-year-old boy from Silver City was detained for possession of less than an ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Melissa Gomez, age 42, was arrested for battery against a household member and interference with communications… Mary Medina, age 37, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant and a Municipal warrant – both for failure to pay fines… Anna Lopez, age 24, was arrested on a District Court warrant for failure to appear… and Sabino Lerma, age 59, was cited for having alcohol in a public place.
Also… appliances, electronics, furniture and other household items were taken from a residence off Franklin Road while the property owners were working out of town… two saddles and a DVD/VCR player were taken from a location off Arrowhead Drive… $500 worth of copper wire was taken from a business off North Gold… and two light fixtures, an end-table and a blanket were taken from an apartment off East Pine Street.
