The three programs recently relocated are Parents as Teachers, Court Appointed Special Advocates, and Partnerships for Success II.
The offices were formerly housed in the county annex off Spruce Street.
The Parents as Teachers program helps parents – especially teenage and first-time mothers – learn useful skills to pass along to their children. Pregnancy tests and health screenings are offered, and all services are free of charge.
Court Appointed Special Advocates help connect volunteers with children involved in the court system to help protect and represent the children through legal processes.
And the Partnerships for Success II program focuses on substance abuse prevention – especially prescription drug abuse and underage drinking.
