Lieutenant Carl Sanner, County Manager Kuenstler (Deming) – A detention center lieutenant has been named the Luna County Employee of the Year.
County Manager Kelly Kuenstler, who presented the award to Lt. Carl Sanner at the City/County Christmas Party this past weekend, said Sanner was nominated for the honor by his boss, Detention Director Matthew Elwell, and then selected by a vote of all county employees.
In Elwell’s nomination of Sanner, Elwell mentioned Sanner’s extreme dedication to his job, commitment to quality of service at the Luna County Detention Center and his dedication and service to his community.
