According to Sheriff’s Captain Jose Martinez, Deputy Robert Ramirez was recently promoted to the rank of Sergeant.
Sergeant Robert Ramirez is 42 years old… graduate from Deming High School and is a life long Deming Resident.
Sergeant Ramirez was hired as a Sheriff’s patrol officer in 2015 and graduated the NM Law Enforcement Academy.
Sergeant Ramirez has held the Department's position as general instructor and field training officer.
The promotion took effect Monday.
