
The $1,000 check from gaming charity monies was presented to Pastor George Gillespie.
According to the center’s website, it is the mission of the Agape Rehabilitation and Prevention Center to provide hope to men who sincerely desire a change in their lives – specifically to those men seeking by faith in God to repair lives in shambles as a result of drug and alcohol abuse.
Reportedly, an addict in need of rehabilitation resides at the home for a period of six months to one year, depending on how the individual responds to the program.
Gaming Accountant Tammy Zumwalt said it was a pleasure to present the $1,000 check to the rehab center.
She noted that nearly every family has been touched in some way by addiction, adding that the Elks were proud to be able to help a local organization that provides assistance to people in need.
