(Deming) – Here’s the area crime report:
Maria Alvarez, age 53, was arrested on a Magistrate warrant for battery, possession of drug paraphernalia and shoplifting, on a Municipal warrant for failure to pay fines and on a Hidalgo County warrant for failure to pay fines… Jesse Gutierrez, age 29, was arrested for interference with officers… Brandy Hammonds, age 30, was arrested on a Municipal warrant for failure to appear… and Angelica Salazar, age 20, was cited for shoplifting at Walmart.
Also… tools and welding equipment, with a combined value of $4,000, were taken from a location off Pilar Road… a video gaming console, 20 games, a scooter and a light fixture, with a combined value of $1,350, were taken from a location off West Spruce… a laptop computer valued at $400 was taken from a location off Sandburg… a television valued at nearly $200 was taken from a residence off South Gold… $100 worth of prescription medication was taken from a residence off South Shelly… and a wallet was taken from a vehicle off Dona Ana Road.
