Officials say the fairs are a hospital outreach designed to help people who may be confused by new health insurance rules or the process of signing up for health plans.
To apply, interested persons will need to take proof of residency or a driver’s license… proof of income in the form of a W2 or pay stub for working family members… and the social security number of everyone who is applying for coverage.
The free insurance enrollment fairs are being held each Wednesday through February 11th from 1-3 p.m. at Mimbres Memorial Hospital. Attendees should use the hospital’s Ash Street entrance.
