30-year-old Kristen Durall of Union Gap, Washington, had been travelling westbound before she flipped her 1997 Black Explorer about 20 miles west of Deming at just before 4 a.m. Friday.
Medical responders found Durall sitting up, and called for an air transport to take her to a trauma center, but she was pronounced dead at the local hospital before she could be airlifted out.
Officers found an open alcoholic beverage and several unopened alcoholic beverages among the wreckage, but it was unclear if alcohol was a contributing factor to the accident.
