
The New Mexico Department of Health’s Luna County Public Health Office has been hosting back-to-school immunization clinics at 215 S. Silver Avenue since August 1st.
The final two clinics will be held this Thursday, August 10th, from 9-11 a.m. and 1-3 p.m., and on Saturday, August 12th, from 1-5 p.m.
The immunization clinics are open to the public and immunizations are administered free of charge.
Parents need to bring their child’s shot record and Medicaid or private health insurance card.
The special clinics are part of the Got Shots? immunization campaign for children 18 years and younger, sponsored by the New Mexico Department of Health, the New Mexico Immunization Coalition, the New Mexico Primary Care Association, and healthcare providers across the state.
