Luna County Media Director Matt Robinson will lead a social media training on Wednesday, October 18th, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Columbus Mimbres Valley Learning Center, 215 W. New Orleans Avenue, next to the Ben Archer clinic.
The training is free of charge.
Participants reportedly will learn how to begin using social media to promote their business or organization.
The Hump Day Academy training series, which takes its name from the popular commercial featuring a camel in an office celebrating Wednesday, is a collaboration with WESST, Luna County, Deming-Luna County Chamber of Commerce, Deming-Luna County Economic Development, Western New Mexico University and the Small Business Development Center.
The classes are open to the public and no registration is required.
