
QuickBooks is an accounting software package developed and marketed by Intuit and geared toward small- and medium-sized businesses.
This week’s training on QuickBooks will take place in two free sessions – from 10 a.m.-noon or 1-3 p.m. on Wednesday, August 10th, at the Mimbres Valley Learning and Special Events Center.
A free lunch for participants will be offered at noon for attendees of either session.
“Hump Day Academy” trainings are being offered by Luna County through a United States Department of Agriculture Rural Development Business Grant.
The county’s partners include New Mexico Workforce Connection, Deming-Luna County Economic Development Corporation, Las Cruces-based WESST, Deming MainStreet, Deming-Luna County Chamber of Commerce, Small Business Development Center and Western New Mexico University-Deming.
Subsequent trainings are: Customer Service, August 17th; Microsoft Excel, August 24th; and Microsoft Office, September 7th.
Certificates of completion will be given to participants.
