High School Basketball: Deming Ladycats 53 - Artesia Lady bulldogs 47

(Deming) - Deming Ladycats defeated the Artesia Lady Bulldogs 53-47 tonight in Deming.  The JV Ladycats lost to Artesia by 1 point 43-44.

Top Scorers for the Ladycats:
Yovannie Duran - 21
Jessica Jasso - 11
Alisa Camerina - 8

Ladycats defeated the 9th top team in the state... The Artesia bulldogs.

The Cats shot 11 out of 17 free throws.  Scoring 4 three pointers all by Yovannie Duran.

Cats had 20 turnovers and 36 rebounds.

Next the Ladycats will be back in action Saturday traveling to Cobre to take on the Lady Indians at 4 - 5:30 and 7.
