
The clinics will be hosted by the New Mexico Department of Health’s Office of Border Health and will be open to the public.
The first clinic will be this Saturday from 9 a.m.- 2 p.m. at the Andrew Sanchez Youth Center in Columbus… followed by a clinic Monday from 9-2 at Pepper’s Supermarket… and one Tuesday from 9-2 at the Deming Senior Center.
State Health Department officials say everyone six months of age and older should get a flu vaccine each flu season, especially people who are at high risk of having serious flu-related complications.
The state Health Department offers vaccinations for people without insurance or who are otherwise not able to get immunized. Those with Medicaid or other health insurance should bring their insurance cards with them to the clinic.
Again, the immunization clinics are open to the public and free of charge. They will be held this Saturday at the Andrew Sanchez Youth Center in Columbus… Monday at Pepper’s Supermarket… and Tuesday at the Deming Senior Center. Clinic hours are from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. at each location.
